drop of boost read on JRSC

hmm...just a note, even since i put the SC on ive been reading max 9psi, then after i installed headers i was reading upwards of 10psi, on my autometer.....
i put my stock cat-back exhuast back on, and now im reading max 7psi
wierd, i thought "with" smoother flowing exhuast gasses boost reading should go down....but in this case its opposite....

You need to put the rims back on, clean the engine compartment, and get all the dust, paint overspray off of anything JRSC belt related. You'll also need to show a more recent photo of your car with that incredible front end....... (It is missing a big ol intercooler, though)

Sure, use the belt dressing. I think you may want to clean the little upper-most pulley (jackshaft on the motor pulley side) and the 2 pulleys on the sc side with a thinner or acetone. There may be some overspray here and there. Then, use the dressing. If it doesn't help, at least with the cleaned components, you'd be able to hear belt slippage....

Sorry I had to leave, it was my last day in San Diego and I dropped my lovely significant other to work in the morning, which led me the need to pick her up. We'll come up there, if you haven't picked up chamorro's gauge, I'll make one up for your fuel rail, then we'll find the mystery sound......

I was thinking, if the header is of too thin a gauge of tubing, the exhaust may seem significantly louder. I didn't notice this with many DC headers, but mass production does lead to a few mishaps....we'll see...
