Drag Gen II intercooler piping fitment 4th gen

I have a 92 si and all i have left is the piping for the intercooler to complete putting on the turbo kit. and let me tell you that we have saved the hardest part for last. My piping that came with my kit will not fit correctly. everything looks/fits ok except for the pipe elbows that go by the turnsignals. i think i may have to make some customs ones to clear that part.

just wondering if you drag owners experience is with this, and did you have to hack up your piping like me or if you were one of the lucky ones and it fit right.
