don't do this at home!!!

So I've got the stock exhaust back on the car, except for the cat, which I am running a stock inlet/outlet Random Tech piece. Even the header is stock. Because of the stock pieces, I currently don't have my wideband in the car. There is no place currently for its sensor.

Also, I'm currently running a short ram intake setup.

I put the 9 psi pulley back on tonight.

I think keahistight tried to make a joke, stating it was a 9 pound pulley,
but sharkcohen originally said 9psi, which I believe keahistight misread to say
9lb or something. Overall, the joke was bad, the reply of the pic of the pulley
was kinda funny just sitting there, and my post just wasted 1 minute of your life.

WTF??!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!
no dude, I was serious, I have never seen a 9psi pulley before only the 6 pound that comes with the JRSC. by 9 pound I meant a 9psi pulley. Like I am boosting 9 pounds right now or 9psi, whichever way you want to look at it. I wanted to see how different it looked. Is it just a larger diameter?

I'm confident that with my setup and familiarity with where my fuel and timing settings should be, it is safe.

Performing great so far with the stock exhaust, and it is sooo quiet.

I have no idea. It 'feels' the same to me, though. And the 2.5", straight-through exhaust was ridiculously deafening during boost. I'm surprised that I never got pulled over for it, I ran it like that for over a year.

sweet!

Hey Shark, where did you get that pulley from? and what's the diameter of that one. The standard pulley is 2" right?

I bought this pulley used off of Obsidian7 when he sold all his stuff, it's one of the Jim Helbing pulleys, as far as I know. I'm not sure offhand what its diameter is. I can measure the stock one for you when I get home.

Oh is the prelude set up is pullied different than the masses that run SC's? Most guys that want to up the boost on there SC's they run a smaller pullie on there "jackshaft" right out of there blower.

Well either way enjoy the boost!

To increase boost with a smaller pulley, I believe the pulley mounted on the blower itself would be changed, but to increase boost with a pulley on the jackshaft, you increase the diameter instead. I suppose it all depends on how all the belts are hooked up on each car?
