does anybody know...?

i want to know if there is a way to get the oil return line onto the pan without drilling the pan itself...?

like does anybody make a bolt that has an extension for a line or is drilling the pan pretty much the only way that a return line can be fed back into the pan?

my other question is about intercooler piping and the joints used to hold the piece together

i know there's cheap stuff and there's expensive stuff..

i've been told about the differant plys used in rubber.. some having 4 and others having only two and the differance comes when the joint expands and contracts under boost

is there a prefered site that everybody goes to for these parts?

and one last thing is becuase i'm doign the bone yard boost... what items can be had at a home depot to lessen the cost of this project

thanks all

john

Greddy makes a banjo bolt and banjo in place of the stock oil pan drainage bolt. It comes with the Greddy 5th gen turbo kit., but you can order it separately like I did when mine broke due it being over torqued. I paid $48.00 from Group 5 Motorsports.

why would u want to run the return line all the way to the back of the oil pan? just drill a hole and weld a fitting on it.

the best place i've found for silicone couplings is atpturbo.com

the thing is.. i'm very finiky when it comes to drilling onto my oil pan.. if greddy makes a bolt that doesn't require drilling.. this can save me lots of time

i just wonder if those oil line kits are universal as far as what line they use as a return.. i mean.. i don't want to use the greddy bolt and find out that i have to get a special and expensive greddy line to fit it

i was also wondering about the line goign to the turbo itself.. is it all universal.. or is it turbo specific

i will be running the 14b turbo from an eclipse and was told that i needed to get the fitting specifically made for that turbo..

14b would be kinda small, unless u want really fast spool and not much up top. everyone taps the oil pan. it's not that hard. just take the pan off, drill it and weld a fitting on it. shouldn't take more then 2 hours.
