check engine light??

I just had a check engine light come on after leaving the highway. My car seems to drive like it did before and I have had the SC on for like 3 months now and never had the check engine light come on. What the hell is going on and how can I find out what exactly the light means or its code??
--I scrape really bad a while before it happened, is it possible I messed up something underneah my car that set it off, I HIGHLY doubt this but I am trying to find answers or a direction to look

Also, what about the wiring from the EMS to ECU??My connections are getting soldered monday but could this ligh come on from a connection getting loose, and is it safe to drive my car, please help me out those of you who know whats up with that damn check engine light!!

U scraped really bad a while ago? There is a good chance that u broke the Heater Element in the primary O2 Sensor or just damaged the wires on one of the Two Sensors. Find out what code it is spitting!!

mine came on because of a bad connection. See if the soldering makes it go away.
