^^ What he said.

Cheapest and Turbo don't go in the same sentance.

BUT..if you really want to cheap out then go get a SSautocrome kit off ebay. BUt you get what you pay for. DO some research on H-T about how good those kits are.

Milage isnt really a big thing as long as your motor is still running good. I have over 180,000 miles on my motor, and i got it dynotuned a few weeks ago with my turbo setup 240.2 hp with 215lbs of torque. i just pieced together a kit, probalby got 2000 into it.

The only way to pull that off is to have a lot of knowledge up front. Realistically, the only route that would work is to re-drill the DSM turbo manifold and do a hack for the H22. It's possible, but it takes some fabrication.

If you don't have a good set of tools and a nice garage to do your own work, you are completely SOL. Labor alone can run you into $3k.

Personally I'd advise you to stay away, especially if this car is your daily driver.

Things that are missing from this picture:

1) Installation? Who is going to do it?

2) Downpipe? Who is going to weld it?

3) I don't see a dump tube listed, that has to be included

4) Someone needs to chip the P28

5) Injectors, needed for standalone.

6) Wideband. Required for tuning.

7) Tuning. Someone has to tune it.

Those are just off the top of my head. I honestly don't know if a car can be boosted for under $3k, even with crazy hookups on welding and tuning.

^ Those are good questions for your install.

This saying applies very much to your case

FAST, CHEAP, RELIABLE

Pick TWO.

too many things can go wrong.

but how many ppl will do ALL of the work themselves? And nothing is 100% reliable when you start modding a car.

Ok, I admit I am really curious about this. Can you give me some details about how you did it?

Obviously not custom piping at that price (with bov!), so what exactly did you purchase? Did it require any modification?

I purchased this off of cb7tuner.com it needed a little bit of modification, but it fit pretty well. It was just a greddy rs knock off bov.

The only thing I haven't done on my car, is weld the downpipe, and put the tires on the wheels.. whats the fun in paying for people do work on YOUR car?

I put together my setup for around $1500 or so.. there are a few things I am going to replace now, like the upper charge pipe..

It could be done for less with more time and patience..

I put down 203 whp/201 tq or so on 4.3 psi unintercooled on my H23
