Built NA prelude vs JRSC prelude???

How would an NA prelude with:

Type S pistons, Type S cams, Type S valve springs, AEM cam gears, AEM pulleys, AEM CAI, Greddy Evo, Crane ignition system, DC CC header

do against a JRSC prelude with DC CC header and Greddy Evo?

Wondering if I should even bother to install my NA stuff or sell it in favor of a JRSC.

All depends on what you want to do with them. The JRSC is going to be faster if thats all the NA mods that are planned. But, in an endurance road race event, the JRSC might not make it to the end.

Even if you did do the headwork and get the Euro R manifold... Would you have to do the computer upgrade (Hondata, full standalone) to compete at all with the JRSC? Since if anything, it seems our ECU is a VERY limiting factor. I'm wondering IF I should even bother doing headwork or just wait until I get another car down the road.

From what I've read/seen with other cars, a na setup with the mods listed, and headwork, hondata and the accord intake manifold is still below a jrsc as far as peak hp and flat torque curve, so judging from that, straight line is going to go to the jrsc all things being equal. Without adjusting the displacement of the engine, a very very good na build up is around 210-220whp, but still won't have the torque of a jrsc.

yeah the JRSC seems the best if you dont' plan on putting a strut tower brace in...
I'd just do non-strut tower suspension mods till maybe next yr and see how the JRSC competes w/ the GReddy intercooled turbo.

This might help. There's a 4th gen lude up here that has the JDM Type S motor swap in it (220 ponies out the box). He's also got a DC header, Tanabe exhaust and aftermarket intake. I've got JRSC, IHE, and Pullys. Off the line, we're even until I hit second gear (and discover traction) where I pull on him hard. His best 1/4 mile is 14.3 on street tires. The guys Type S motor is SWEET though. Imagine a JRSC on that motor, if it were possible.
