building bottom end

iim thinking about getting a spare bottom end and having it sent out to GE. would this be a good setup.

eagle built block
Sleeved
Eagle rods
je 9 to 1 pistons
Prodrive oil pump gear

now if i just have that done what else would i need to get done. before i put the engine abck together? also can i run it NA for the time being?

It would even be good for the engine to not see boost during the break-in.

definately all good things. I have some articles on turboprelude from when i built my motor. With 9:1 you're gonna lose a lot of <3000 rpm power. If i dont drop it from about 3gs on my launch, i watch grandmas walk by. But on boost it'll be worth it.

info is here:

http://www.turboprelude.org/documents/faq/

http://www.turboprelude.org/document...advanced.shtml

this last page is where i ran into problems when building my motor. But good luck p&p is evil. robbing more power downlow :P

I believe he means not seeing boost as in controlling your foot not taking the kit off. I am using a 9.0:1 compression and it doesn't feel too bad. It's like driving a stock car under 3000 rpm.
