You are going to have traction problems at 60-80mph still even with the best trany in the world.

500WHP prelude is not a DD so you can give that dream up.
When you put one of those large turbos need to make that kind of peek power it will suffer down low no matter how much impeller/ball bearing/twin scroll tech put into said turbo. You also want to make 650+ with a race tune it will most likely be a very LARGE turbo. The point is the car will not drive like you think or be reliable like you think any longer keep this in your head when building your car.

Your HP goals are very doable just not your idea of functionality

I just read this and I dont know what to say ... um maybe I'll start here ... I had traction issues in 1st and second with a gear dependant boost controlled tune on AEM. Traction is going to be a killer with a proposed setup like this. Did this ever go anywhere anyway?

So what are you basing this suggestion that a 500whp daily driver prelude isn't possible? Is this based on experience because I don't suspect it is.

I put down ~502whp and kept ALL factory options (including a/c and p/s) and everything is fully functional. Granted if I flat foot it all the time traction will obviously be a problem, but thats not specific to the prelude platform. My turbo while fairly large isn't a huge laggy race setup it's VERY streetable and the power is actually quite useable.

So perhaps you could provide the information that backs up your claims because I don't see what factual data you have to suggest 500whp isn't a very streetable daily drivable power level.
