a bit of spark plug trivia

the ngk plug "zfr7f-11" is the copper version of the plug that comes with the car, but one step colder. it comes out of the box with a .44" gap (too much for FI). the plug "zfr7f" is the exact same plug, but with a .32-.35" gap out of the box. you can find the zfr7f in stock at most honda marine shops... i got a set of these, then got worried when i noticed that everyone else was running zfr7f-11. ngk confirmed for me that it's the same plug otherwise. they also said that even though the gap is specified with the plug, it should always be checked!

How much did you buy them for? I had to order them through summitt, no auto parts store could even understand what I was looking for....A copper plug one step colder than the oem. One e-mail to ngk and I got an answer is 24hrs. Woohoo!! I've been using some Bosch Platinums, but I feel the tip is too shrouded....
