Is this for FI? If you really are FI, I would say neither.

S2 tuner1's or Pro1's

The tuner1's are easier on the drive train and still good gains. These should be used if you have a smaller turbo than gt35r or not a long runner mani.

I went with the Pro1's.

whats the point in using aftermarket cams when our motors dont need them with boost?

Roger went low 10's with type S cams
Tommy went low 10's with stock cams

less is more IMO

Yea i hear the cams the lude's have are perfectly fine. No need for cams it's optional. But Aem tru timing cam gears actaully help with turbos.

That doesn't really make sense to me.

You could spend $500-600 and get 40-60whp and lower psi. With the amount of $$$ that goes into these setups that is a great payoff IMO...

It can and has been done but these cams are proven over and over again. If you are trying to max out your setup these are great value... again just my opinion.

The cams you posted are for B-series. I know of no cams for the H-series that I have seen an actual dyno plot proving they make more than stock cams.

thanks for all the heads up,

I have been in contact with Evans-tuning He suggested against cams.

Here is his quote

“Cam gears do almost nothing for power gains if you have stock cams. I would not recommend doing cams on a h22a, especially if you have a log manifold. You'll lose power over OEM cams. "Turbo" cams just don’t work. They cut down the duration, which kills top end power on a Honda engine.”

He is not the only tuner or builder who suggested against cams. I contact several different ones that all came up with basicly the same advise. No cams on H22 unless you trying to make 600-700+ HP. This is not my goal so no cams for me, I'm however going to get cam gears even if they are not adjusted.

I bought my cams bc Jeff Evan's suggested it... But I also have a long runner mani and am shooting for 650+whp.
