"backyard" tuning update

I think I have done all of the tuning that I can with my PMS, 550 injectors, fuel trim outputs, and O2 sensor voltage outputs. Currently, my PMS boost table settings for fuel and ignition are:

rpm...2200...4400...6800...8000
fuel....18.......20......22......24.....1 psi
.........38......40......42......44.....max psi

ign.....-2........-2.......-2......-1......1 psi
.........-8........-8.......-7......-6......max psi

Max psi is set at 10. The highest boost I have seen is 8 psi. Idle and part throttle fuel are both at -46, and I have made no ignition adjustments on the part throttle table. I am getting O2 sensor voltages between .90 and .95 throughout the rpm band and depending on intake air temperature. Intake air temps seem to float around 125-140. The -2 degrees at 1 psi in the ignition boost table has eliminated any tip in lean condition.

Without a wideband, I wouldn't want to go any leaner nor more agressive with the ignition, and I'm not sure if I should be more conservative. Power is nice across the rpm band. I've lowered vtec to 4000 and experienced no change in O2 sensor voltages. It also didn't seem to increase power, so I may just bump it back up to 4500

LOL the vtec setting is also throttle position dependant, and I have that set to 35%

well, as he pointed out it's throttle dependent - as it SHOULD be (vafc makers : )

but in addition, he has an SS, which has a tall 4th gear, so 4000rpm is really 89mph instead of our 78.5 in 5th at 40.

I pulled the spark plugs out last night. They looked fine. Nice chocolate brown deposits, so I must be doing something right I would have taken a pic, but the macro function on my DSC-P9 is worthless. I'm going to leave things as they are for now until I can afford a techedge wideband setup, which will probably be sometime around January.
