Is this backwards?

Ok I bought this h22 turbo manifold and down pipe. The down pipe looks like its going to be on the wrong side of the turbo....

But I could just be a damn retard..

Those welds look pretty bad.

It does look like this DP expects the turbine outlet to be on the passenger side, which is unusual for Hondas. It can be done, I have seen it.

Also, do you realize that the DP must be custom fitted to the manifold, yes? Generally, DPs are not interchangeable. It depends on which manifold you have and also which turbo. This is why DPs are almost always custom made.

Well I bought the downpipe and manifold from some guy that had a turbo 5th gen im awaiting pics to find out what is going on with it. And yes that is the mani he used with that turbo..

Ok then you might be in decent shape. Did the DP attach to the stock catback? Not sure if anything is different there.

Things will be routed strangely if you have to keep the turbine exit on the passenger side.
