Anyone done any on track racing with FI?

Anyone taken their car to the track with any form of FI. I am interested in learning how you handled cooling issues and for you JRSC guys what the deal is with heat soak. I KNOW FOR A FACT that with SOME supercharged E36 M3s that heat soak is quite an issue on track, after a while not being all that much faster than a non FI car.
Thanks for any input.

I'd really love to take my car to the track, once I remember to check the calendar of events of a whole slew of car organizations.

As far as track prep goes, my plans include the Hondata gasket (assuming it shows good results), some sort of custom oil cooler kit, and maybe the water injection system if my datalogger (if I ever receive it!) shows super high intake temps.

(As an aside, I just noticed that the JR EMS splices into the IAT wire on the ECU. Obviously, this poses a problem for my OBDII Scanner, as I'll be viewing the Intake Temps reported to the ECU by the EMS and not necessarily the actual voltage from the IAT sensor itself. I'm bummed... )

I plan on doing the 1/8 in two weeks. Are you talking about drag? There is going to be a lot of time between runs so I think my engine should be ok. Maybe I can run without my hood
I am going quarter mile when I get the liqiud injection. I am still waiting for my friends dyno machine to get numbers, can't afford to pay money.
Iranman This head gasket you are talking about. Let me know how it works and how much it cost to take off the head. It is very expensive I have heard. Why don't you use the B&M oil cooler? It looks very large and should do the job right. I have heard with the Liquid Injection you can gain a lot of horse power because you don't need to retard the timing. When you dynoed did you run a test to see just how much power one click on the BTR is produced/lost?

I meant road race type events, drivers schools, lapping days, etc.
