had this ACT Extreme Clutch on my 98 prelude.
Making 310HP with 317 pounds of torque.
Dont know what the heck happen but it just made me loss confidence in ACT. I will never buy an ACT clutch again..
Hmmm...curious what the tolerances are for the ACT Xtreme. How much use did you have with this one prior to it failing?

the act extreme was suppost to hold up to 487 pounds of torque. i had this clutch on for almost 2 years.
I would assume LOTS of hard launches.

SoCalPrelude.com MODS only inforce rules on some and not on all. Kyle is a joke.
BTW, Eric Schultz in CA is a known scammer. He did it to me, he can do it to you. Just a heads up. Know as "backinblue92" here on PO.com
well I have 6 years of hard launches on my ACT in 1st and 2nd, with no problems
car makes 397HP and 370lbs/tq
I have had been through centerforce and clutchmastes before that.
so far the ACT has not given me a single problem, did you break it in properly?
Well 2 years of abuse on a clutch and u don't expect anything to happen? Sh@$# happens things fail and break now if it was a new clutch that's one thing but its not.
I'm with this guy, looks like you beat the bag out of the clutch, just because you upgraded your clutch doesn't mean you can dump it without any ill effects.
