Aem Uego Wideband

Hey guys i'm planning to pick up the aem uego wideband a/f gauge with o2 sensor. the thing i'm wondering about is that i will need to install the o2 prior to the cat, but i dont want to have a bung drilled into my downpipe. So my question is, can i have a bung drilled before the cat, about the same location as the secondary o2 area? would that be the best spot? i'm not planning to run any testpipe as well. i have a highflow carsound cat.

Your wideband has to be before the cat.

so my best bet is to have the o2 bung right before teh cat, so the piping prior to the cat, after the downpipe would work out right?

I'm pretty sure the AEM UEGO only reads from 11:1 A/F, so if you were running richer than that, it wouldn't read it at all.

Mine is located directly before my cat/straight pipe after the bend to horizontal off the downpipe. Make sure the bung is inserted at an angle so the O2 will face upwards because the AEM has a long tail/wire on it that will drag if you arent careful.
