Accord tranny

Wattup,
Those of you running an accord tranny, wich clutch are you guys using. I am planning on swaping trannies and a clutch while im at it. Im looking for a stiff clutch, good enough for 300hp. I am willing to spend about 500-600 $. thx

Would you think a f series tranny bolted to an h22 with boost will suuuuuck as much as you say it sucks?
Preludestud11: How do you like the longer ratios on the f series...

None of the flywheels or clutches are different if you run an F tranny. F trannies all will bolt right up to the H22. Depending on how much boost you are running and your spool time, they can make for a quicker car with the longer ratios.

There is information in the N/A library about trannies and clutches, so look there first.

The clutch should be selected based on the type of driving you will be doing most often. The best writeup on clutches I've ever seen is actually over on NASIOC:

http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/showthread.php?t=775679

That should help you out.

I love it. I will put it to you this way. with my h23 turbo at 8 psi, i pulled on my friends h22 turbo at 9.5 psi just becuase of my longer gear ratios. he had to shift and i stayed in the gear longer and pulled on him. hp numbers are almost the same.
