9psi on a 6psi pulley

For some reason I'm reading 9psi consistantly at WOT in any gear. I'm using the stock 6psi pulley that came with the JRSC. I don't want to blow my motor... Does anyone have any insight on what may be going on here? It's been doing this since the day of the install (last week). I'm pretty sure I installed everything correctly cause I double & triple checked my work. I also have AEM CAI, DC CC headers, Thermal R&D cat back, AEM pulleys, MSD ignition w/coil. Please help me before I break something. Thanks!

It's pretty much the same with every JRSC Prelude. Some say that it is because of restrictions (stock cat). Others say that the Autometer guages read high. I used to read 8.5-9psi until I installed a carsound 2.5" cat and now I read 7.5-8psi, so the restriction theory may have something to it.

Oh, thank god I'm not the only one! Where did you get your carsound cat & where can I get info on it? I was thinking of getting a Random Technology Hi-flow cat from opt auto. Has anyone else had this situation? I'd like to hear more of peoples experiences and steps to correct it. Thanks all!

I read up on aftermarket cats and most people said RT's would break up after a year or so. I got the 2.5" Carsound from a shop on ebay for $90 shipped. I then had to pay $50 to get the flanges from my stock cat welded onto the carsound and have the cat installed on my car. Do a search in the FI forum and there are many posts that talk about the JRSC boost reading. Almost every member reads from 7.5psi to 9psi. Also the pulley upgrade tends to register 11psi.
