I 3 THAT^^ well Mine will be alive again hopefully soon. I am also running a close setup/same turbo also. I have a dyno here at my shop so as soon as its put back together ill post up my #'s. Make sure to post your dyno chart. Id like to look at it.

That line is way too low to the ground. I would not even consider driving it on a public road like that.
guys.....where do you want me to run this thing at? the pump is 75% gravity fed, so it MUST be below the tank. i couldn't find a better place to put it. i might could raise it up an inch, but that wouldn't be a lot of help. my only really helpful alternative right now would be to remove the factory tank and put a fuel cell in the trunk. then i could mount the pump just about anywhere under there. but right now i can't afford a fuel cell because i just spent a million on this sucker. so i'm gonna have to live with it like it is. If i'm careful i should be fine. i don't like it where it is either, but right now i guess i have no choice. i'm going to look at it some more soon and see if i can't figure out something better though.
by the way.....keahistight
i'll make way more than 500whp.
i mean seriously.. look at it that line is below the freaking lower control arm.. if something on the ground catches that its gonna rip that line out of that AN fitting
At VERY least pull that fuel line up, or fab some kind of shield plating for it.
Seriously though; that line is only clearing the ground by about 4": what happens if you straddle an animal carcass, rock, or other debris? you'll either rip the pump out, or the fittings out of the tank and be sitting in a huge puddle of fuel; Worst case scenario is a sudden, monsterous fireball engulfing the entire rear half of your car.
i could make that 90 bend aim up, and that would give a little more clearance. but if that line touches anything, then that means the pump would have already been wiped out, so it's not really gonna make a difference moving the line up any.

Me either. If you kept that line it would be drag strip only.

I hope you do. The owner of the RedLude with a GE sleeved, 9:1 JE Running the Same turbo made some where around 410-420 on only 11 pounds so if you run higher boost you should be able to hit your mark. He was running a Walbro.

You should move both. If anything happens under boost that means your motor loses its fuel which means it pops. That is an Expensive mistake.
If if happens to go and starts spilling fuel on the road there is a chance of fire which would also be bad times.
Point is, there is absolutely NO reason to spend the kind of money you did on a set up and then risk a huge disaster. Just remember you are running an exposed, highly Explosive line hovering inches from the ground.
PErsonally, I would just run a walbro. A 255 is more than enough to feed 1000cc injectors and it would be in tank.
Yeah you should make that power no problem! I am making 430 on pump gas at around 14.5 psi! And well over 500 on race gas and your setup is just about identical to mine you are going to love it! BTW let me know how that ignition works for you because i have had lots of ignition problems with my car and i was thinking about getting the M&W 10!

love the boost!!
i was going to run a walbro, but jason told me he would be much more comfortable tuning the car on a bigger pump. sure, walbro could make that much power, but for how long, and if it were to poop out then i'm screwed. i'm thinking heavily about loaning some more money and putting in a fuel cell which would aleviate all of our worst nightmares.
by the way. i feel stupid having to tell you guys this, but when i was reinstalling the tranny, i guess i got off to doing something and completely forgot to torque down the pressure plate bolts. i guess i didn't notice it when i slid the tranny into place, and that caused my clutch to act up once i got the sucker in. i couldn't put it in gear while the engine was running, and although the fork was moving completely after bleeding the clutch, it still wouldn't disengage. if i tried to start it in gear, the car was like in direct drive even with the clutch pressed. i eventually decided that i would have to remove the tranny and see what the deal was. by the time i got the tranny off, the bolts on the pressure plate were backed out pretty good. i was able to remove all of them with my hands. i would be embarassed, but it was an honest mistake, and i guess with all the stuff that was running through my head about everything else, i just missed it. oh well, it's all back together and working properly now, so i'll never make that mistake again. luckily it didn't break anything.
^^ have you tried contacting the pump mfgr to ask where they recommend placing the pump on the prelude? You may even want to email them that picture above, just to get another opinion or helpful tip.
We're not trying to dog on you, its just that with all the time and effort you have put into your setup it would be a shame to see it all go up in smoke over something as minor as fuelpump placement, or worse yet hearing about you getting hurt as a result.
^^^ Exactly. It would suck to hear that you hit a rock on the road which pulled off the terminal end of the line spraying fuel all over the road which hit the hot exhaust, caught fire, the fire traced back up the line into the tank and blew you up.
The walbro can make that much power man. Walbros are the most reliable and they are used with 1000cc injectors all day long. A walbro wouldnt be a problem at all with your set up.
im running a walboro on my setup and im making just as much power as you will be making and i have had zero fuel issues!!
i realize it can make the power, but i was just looking for something more reliable at higher power levels. i will be installing a fuel cell soon though, so that will make me a lot more comfortable, and you all won't have to worry about me going up in a puff of smoke.
