440s and vafc

I was wondering, how would 440s work on the stock FPR? is that a 1:1? could you do 440s and just use the vafc to lean it out? I'm not sure how idle and static pressures are affected by this since its not adjustable.

Re: 440s and vafc

stock FPR is 1:1. i don't think you'd ever get the fueling right by altering a clipped map signal (a'la a jrsc or other bandaided setup), but the (in)famous VAFC hack would work just dandy.

Get a Vortech FMU... With that in combination with the 440s and V-AFC, you would have a pretty good setup!

I'm running 440cc + Vortech FMU 6:1 + Field Vtec controller turn down thru-out the entire rpm. --with the 370, you would probably want to get a 8:1 disc or something, but you should get on the dyno to get a corrected readout of your a/f to tune your vafc.
Vortech makes the regular FMU which you would want to order with the disc specified or you could get the super fmu where you could use to tune alot of stuff. Info is on there website.
