Is 0.65 bar of boost too much for stock internals?

Ok I just go tmy wastegate in today and found out it has a .65 bar pressured spring inside. Thats gonna be about 9.5psi!!! As the title says I'm running it in stock internals. I don't have a stand alone computer either. I'll be using the DRAG kits bosche fuel pump, vortec fmu, and a vafc for fuel management. Can a electronic boost controller lower the boost amount? Like if I have the .65 bar spring can I run lower then that with the ebc?

No, the lowest boost you can run is the WG spring pressure setting. You could get lower boost pressures by feeding the WG signal directly off of the turbo housing, maybe 1-1.5psi less.... I have a .45bar spring in my WG. If you want to trade, let me know.........

For your fuel, I may be able to help you out..... If FMU, use the 10:1 disc and lean out with the VAFC with a good wideband hooked up. If you had an H22A4, I could tell you exactly how much to lean out, using my car as an example.

If you're interested, I have a few gauges for sale, cartech FMU and 400cc injectors.....

I almost forgot, I think 9-10psi is fine if timing is retarded, you have a J&S, and tuned to run rich. I've done 10psi daily without incident, but found my car runs so well at 8psi with lots of fine-tuning.....

i have a apexi avcr boost controller and the 0.65 bar spring....i am able to run lower boost than the WG spring (0.55 kg/cm2 = appox. 8 psi)....the boost controller controls the activation of the WG by T'ing the pressure inlet line between the WG (lower port) and compressor housing....the other vac. hose from the actuator valve of the boost controller goes to the top port of the WG

I'll find some clips and send them together. Other than that, they'll drop right in..... They are ball injectors, you can't run more than 70psi, not that you'll need to..... Apexii is selling 440 DSMs for $100+/-. They have been cleaned by RC, you'll still need clips and a resistor pack......

I am selling mine, as well as providing info onto proven parts. I have the 440DSMs and am very happy with it. If I ever get the guts to boost 15psi on stock internals, all I need to do is up the fuel pressure and the DSMs will take it. With the Ball injectors, the limit is 70psi, so not much room for fun if you ever decide to grenade your motor with 15psi+. It is more info than you asked, at the same time providing alternatives to any suggestions I may make. Am I confusing you yet? My injectors are $150 and I'll express mail it if you are still interested. I would personally get the DSMs for the upgradability and cost.....

Do you have a fuel pressure gauge already? It is strongly reccommended to get one with FI, especially using a RRFPR. If you are going the 440s and VAFC route, it isn't as critical, but if the high pressure and stock injectors, it is definitely critical. Either way, I can sell the boost and EGT for $100 + shipping and you can have the pod thing....

I'll deffinately do the boost, egt and gauge pod for 100+shipping. Can you figure how much shipping with insurance and a tracking # will be to 77059. I assume it comes with everything I need right? And I thik I will be ordering 440's in the near future. Do you know how I can contact apexii? I did a search but couldn't find anything. Oh yeah do you take paypal?
Oh and whats rrfpr?
