I was looking through some of the times for other si's and some of you guys have like 2.3-2.4 60ft times and low 15's in the quarter... What the hell is wrong with my top end?
My best time was 15.533 with a 2.23 60' time.

It's tough comparing other times at other tracks. If you are at a higher elevation, your top end power may suffer, so even though you are getting a good lauch, once the motor winds out there is less oxygen available, and less top end hp.

what was your 1/8th mile time? H23s lack top end in a bad way....my freind has one, take his 1/8th time and mine, then his 1/4 and mine...i put 9 tenths of a second on him from the 1/8th to the end...my old H23 had no top end either, my traps were in the 88 range, which is good for 15.4ish, generally speaking you need 91 to 92 to get into the 14s...and thats barely there
more like 15.2 to 14.99999 with the perfect run...this is FWD too..so, there ya go
I ran a 15.4 with upper 89 trap speed, with a 2.3 60ft. What RPM are you shifting at? Play around with your shift points a little bit, it very well may help.

Strangely enough I get my best times shifting a tad bit after 6000, I'd recommend playing with your shift points the next time you go to the track. The H23 doesn't breathe well at high RPMS, even with mods.
