Build stall to 2000 rpm. Let off break on 3rd yellow.........roll onto throttle. I can't just stab the gas off the line, it'll just melt the rears.

Not that any of that helps you.

My 60' was the same with the same setup, 'cept my tires were the original Bridgecraps.

At the time I was holding the revs at a little over 3000 and slipping the clutch to keep the revs around 3-4k. Once the wheels caught traction I floored it.

I haven't been drag racing for a while, but I autocross a lot and that invloves launching the car off the line. Now that the car is more modifed I can launch while holding a steady 4000-4500 if there is a straight enough section after the line. It's still pretty much the same thing though. Bring your foot up some off the floor, but not enough to make the clutch start to grab, bring the revs up, hold the revs there (you will have to add in some gas but be gingerly with it or you will just sit and spin), let the clutch out as fast as you can while being smooth and as long as the tires have hooked up I'm on the floor.
