I have a 93 VTEC, I saw on superhonda, and 93 vtec with intake and exhaust was running mid 14s, and 9.4 in the 8th. Thats pretty fast what do you think i could do.
aem cai
es motor mount inserts
custom2.5 inch exhaust
rota slipstreams = 11.7 lbs. 15x6.5
khumo tires
h&r sport springs
coolant bi-pass, egr block, advance timing
and soon to be vafc tunnig, my tuner said it would give my up to 18 whp in the mid range.
So what do you think. I consider myself a good driver.
you could be anywhere int eh 14's to 15's.. It all about the motor, driverm and tranny... Ive ran a 14.3 in my h22a... but ive got all u mentioned basically and a lil more.. i fairly consistently was running 14.7 though... So, u should be looking 14.9-15.3 probably... If your good ro your engine is strong.. Look lower..

i consider my engine to be very strong when it is cold because, my best friend has a rsx-s and i have been beating him by a car lately, and he has intake, exhaust, and pulleys. With those mods they have tested rsx-s in the low 14's so i figure i would be around him somewhere. Maybe lower? Yes he can drive, or so i think.
most people around here run very low 15s with 4g vtecs...and rsx type S runs the same. i went to the track with 3 other 4g vtecs and one rsx S, and all were in the low low 15s and a few high 14sec passes..
My car is 93 also, I have my car running 14.4 and all I have done is DC Sport Headers and a Dynamax muffler. I'm working on getting more done to get in the low 13 to high 12.
damn psycho!
with the DC header?
Some people running more mods than you and NOS dont run that fast. There has to be more to this story? Is this a downhill 1/4? Either were missing somthing or this time is a little exagerated.

When I swapped in my JDM H22a a little over a year ago I was running an aem hot air intake and an apexi n1 muffler on stock exhaust piping and she'd pull 14.7's all day long in the hot summer heat. With aem cai, greddy header, custom test pipe, apexi n1 cat-back, clutch master flywheel, clutchnet 6-puck, aem alt pulley (p/s and a/c removed). She'd pull 14.1's all day long. That was with an h23a1 transmission btw. Once the jdm h22a tranny gets the lsd installed and goes in, should eaisly be in the 13's
No, the 1/4 miles isnt downhill. I just went to Gainesville Raceway this past Saturday and put up that time on there test and tune day. I also still just have the stock clutch in the tranny and no LSD. I guess i can tell you'll what this motor is in, I have a 88 Prelude SI with 4WS.
I dont know, the 3rd gen is a good looking car, i think if it had the right kit it would look really smooth. Yea with that car and 200hp, lookout. haha

i only have aem cai/greddy header/apexi N1 and cam gears..using a chipped p28 ecu, and everything else is stock and my cars best is 13.7 @ 102...and thats with full interior..the 13 sec runs were in 55 degree temps, i ran this summer at the battle of the imports and ran 14.0 in the blazing 90 plus heat still not too bad for a mildly modded land sled as its been called
