Went to the track.

4/25/03
LACR
Cold, like 50 degrees, 20mph crosswind, nighttime.
Track elev. 2,710ft

1st run:

Reaction: 1.278
60ft: 2.583
330ft: 7.017
1/8 ET: 10.525 @ 70.502
1/4 ET: 16.027 @ 89.124mph
Notes: Missed start, spun 1st, bogged into 2nd. I was waiting for the other guy stage(didnt know I was the only one racing this time) when they started the tree, didnt have time to relax and get the launch rpm's steady.

2nd run:

Reaction: .693
60ft: 2.463
330ft: 6.663
1/8 ET: 10.115 @ 71.139 mph
1/4 ET: 15.588 @ 89.547 mph
Notes: Melted 1st

3rd run:

Reaction: .728
60ft: 2.326
330ft: 6.587
1/8 ET: 10.030 @ 71.500 mph
1/4 ET: 15.490 @ 89.471 mph
Notes: No burnout in water, just a quick spin near the line to heat em up a little. Good scratch into 2nd. Other guy took forever to stage, had lots of time to concetrate.

Each run, I held 3rd until the limiter, then I shut it down. I dont know if im running out of 3rd before I run out of track though, its pretty close.

JDM h22a
JDM 5spd
eBay short ram
Carsound cat
RS*R catback
NGK coppers and wires
Timing @ about 19 degrees BTDC
Kumho Ecsta Supra 712's @ ~ 32 PSI front and rear
No spare or jack
AGX's 3/4 F/R on H&R springs

On every run, the lane win light came on right before the limiter kicked in.

I will be shifting into 4th next time I go, if I get a better launch, I will be going faster then 90 byt the time I get to the end.

Well, my best time was a 15.4, and Ryan's (CD55) best was a 16.0 I think, and he said he runs 15.4's @ Fontanna so...
I would assume that would put me around 15.0.

Just looked at the lacr site, they have an altitude conversion formula listed:

Quote:
Altitude Correction
LACR is 2,710 ft. above sea level.
To figure the altitude factor the formula is as follows:
ET: multiply your et (at LACR) by .97
MPH: multiply your mph (at LACR) by 1.03
This will give you the ET & MPH at sea level.
That puts me with a 15.02 @ 92.15mph

wow....your trap speeds should be higher.hmmm..especially with a JDM h22..you should be in the 94-95 mph range easy...also you need to work on your launches, with practice you should be able to run low 2.2s and high 2.1s on street tires..peace bro..also is the RSR that restrictive top end??

LACR is uphill.

The RS*R is more resctrictive on the top end then the open pipe I used to run, but then again, it doesnt make my ears bleed.

LACR is crap. Thanks for posting my time you wanker.

Fontana isn't exactly sea level either, but it's eleventy billion times better than that **** hole LACR. I'm down to go on the 10th too.
