::video:: a run at the track

hey everyone, i went to the track 2 weeks ago and some friends got a video of one of my runs. just thought i'd share it with you guys. the title is wrong though, it wasn't a mustang. It was a turbo eclipse. he ended up with a faster 1/4 mile time, but i beat him to the line.

me vs. turbo eclipse spyder

Nice video. Launch looked great...what rpms? Can you post your times for that run, or at least the 60' and 1/4 mile.

Makes me want to go back to the track! Any SoCal's want to go to LACR sometime soon?

thanks man, that run felt pretty good. the eclipse pulled on me nasty in the end though. the slip is back at home but i remember some of the numbers

60' -- 2.35 i think
1/4 -- 15.12 @ 91.xx
and my rxn time for that one was something like .567 which is why i got the jump on him.

i was shifting at @7200

i'll post the actual numbers when i find it.

Bro, 7200 is way to low to be shifting at, you must be dropping way out of your power band in the next gear, do you know what rpm you are falling to when you shift?
