Turbo + Prelude= NO traction

Well i went to the track this morning to test out my new setup. Well i think i did pretty good for street tires. The last time i went to the track i was boosting 6 lbs and running some bfg drag radials and i managed to pull off a 14.4@96mph w/ a 2.1 60ft time. This time i was runnin some 16in rotas w/ kumho 712(i think that's the right number), and 9 lbs. All i can say is damn this thing pulls hard. my first run i spun to the top of 3rd and missed 4th but managed to pull off a:

2.51
6.839
10.1@70.4
13.1
15.5@94

My second run i got a better launch and pulled off a:
2.466
6.75
9.9@77
12.66
14.8@102.08

My third run was my best.

2.44
6.64
9.8@77.7
12.44
14.68@102.1

Now all i have to do is put on my slicks and and i'll be headed back there next week. I think if i can pull off a ~1.8-60ft time i can easily pull off a mid to high 13 sec.

Dude somethings wrong. Does your car just give up at top end. Those trap speeds are terrible for a turbo'd lude. I ran 14.5 with a 95 trap, and all i had was i/e test pipe and stock header. Have you dyno'd your lude? Are you at an elevated track?
EDIT: Saw your last time, you hit 102, but im guessing you must be at an elevated track pulling in those times with those traps.

well that 15.4 run was when i missed 4th...I think those times are pretty normal for a Turbo Si running on a basemap. But hopfully i'll be postin a 13sec slip next week.

Practice your launch, You shouldn't have any problems getting 2.2 60's on Kumho 712's. With traps at 102 mph that car is definately capable of 13's. Just practice and you'll get there.
