traction with a lot of power

we spin our wheels at launch a lot already... im building my car witha turbo 1st and 2nd gear at full boost are going to be silly... in principle, will i get faster times by

A) keeping the car at full boost over all gears
B) doing something like 6psi in 1st, 10 in second, 15 in 3rd, etc...

^^^Should he limit the boost in 1st and 2nd gears to allow the wheels to hook up?

Nuro, I know some Supra racers do this. If you have a boost controller that lets you do this like a PROFEC then by all means use it. I think finding the limit of power vs loss-of-traction will yield you the best 1/4 mi times.

"roll racing is for fwd'ers and supra owners"

thanks for the info. I'll be running the AEM EMS, and i think it does have this feature. I just wonder if choosing the power levels carefully will yeild better results than practiced feathering of the gas/clutch.

That's the optimum solution...mine spun the slicks bad at the track last week leaving me wanting to configure my gear-based boost in the EMS.

thanks for the input. i'm gonna have to play with all this it seems. i bet its an interesting feeling to have 2nd gear slam you in the back of the seat as much as 1st
