Based solely on the abilities of the car, I'd say that the RSX-S should come in ahead of the Prelude by a couple of tenths. Though the RSX has a bit of a torque disadvantage, it has less weight and better gearing.
I am getting tired of used cars so I looked at acura and I kind of like the rsx-s. I like the lude because it is unique but I want brand new. I like the S2K but I don't have that kind of money to spend. So the best bet for me is the RSX-S but I don't want to go down in power. I now the lude is 195 horse at crank and 156 lbs of torque and the rsx-s is 200 and 142 and I know the rsx does the 1/4 in 14.6 which is good stock. So I lose torque but gain horse. It is hard to decide. It is also brand new which is a lot better than used.

I don't know why this was moved but ok. No I am not going to sell it right now but I would rather have a new car that won't have tranny problems. I haven't done all the research yet so I don't know what is better but I like them both equally it is just that the rsx would be brand new that is the only thing.

stock for stock the rsx and lude are even. who ever gets better launches win, even though i think the lude should edge it out with more tor. Now if your talkin jdm h22 lude then its s2k..lude..rsx.

Both drivers equal the type-s will pull the lude a little bit, especially on the highway, the 6 speed helps a lot. As for the design, I could have gotten a type-s had i wanted to. But here is why I didn't.
RSX has a narrow and tall stance which I think looks goofy. The prelude, especially 5th gen has a much nicer low stance and a nice wide wheelbase. Overall the preludes body lines and styling are I think a lot better than the RSX. And I noticed you get more looks from the ladies in a lude than an RSX.
The interior of the type-s has its cool points like the gauges but all in all I like the 5th gens interior better, it feels more roomy and to me sportier.
My last thing is you see a LOT more RSXs on the road than you do 5th gen ludes. Up here RSXs are a dime a dozen, i'm lucky if I see one 5th gen lude rolling around each time I go out.
Keep the lude, or get an s2k, don't sell out for the type-s

I do like the look of the prelude better stock but I think a rsx modded looks just as good. There are good and bad points to both cars. I am not going to get a new car right now. I am going to save my money and see how I feel when I have more and what I want to do with it. A S2K sounds really nice btu I don't have that much money and a small car around here in teh snow would be bad.

its a 3 ways driver race. the s2k will have to launch at 8k rpms to make a good ET. its power is peak power at peak rpm. i've beat a few with bolt ons in my US motor, rsx-s when modded is probably faster than an s2k lol.

I quit boost!
After driving an S2k, it all comes down to it. Equal driver skill, best launches, stock for stock, S2K =13.8 second car, RSX = 14.8 Second car, Prelude = whateva, cause it will get pulled on after 60 by the others anyway. Both of those cars are lighter, geared shorter, and put more to the wheels stock the prelude. So its pretty obvious what will happen. It all changes when the novice driver factor gets thrown in. I've hung with Type S's in my GSR, but because those drivers sucked. But I know whats up.
