Quick question regarding SS 1/4 time...did search already

Well I was wondering wat you SS luders run in the quarter mile. My friend has the VW 337 1.8t and he wont shut up about kicking my ass in a race. So we're gonna go to a track to race cuz I dont wanna die like I almost did in the past.

My car currently has:
aem pullies
blitz sus filter
injen short ram piping
dc cc header
5zigen exhaust
ngk wires
ngk plugs
pivot groundwire kit
60 shot dry nos kit

I also have cf hood, can strip out interior if need be. My racing seat with brackets weigh 13lbs combined. I also have a vafc i but i took it out to pass smog and im just really lazy about putting it back in. also its not tuned so i dont know if its better to just leave it out for the track run.

I really dont want to lose to this guy...he is very annoying and its bugging me like crazy so I really want to beat the hell out of my cocky buddy at the track.

Also my buddy has this one ecu chip that gives 50hp more over stock at the flywheel. That car is supposed to be able to run low 15's stock. I just want to secure the win, but I'm and SS lude and its not going to be easy IMO.

Your car is sweet and all, but you're not going to stand a chance.

a lot of vw drivers suck at launching at the track. you have an ss with a 60shot in 1st gear. I think you have a standing chance actually. fyi they usually run mid-high 14s. I've seen one with a lot of mods run low 14s. I would hope you could run some form of a high 14 with all your mods so take him from the tree and hope you win

well this guy isnt that bad of a driver i think because he raped my friend in his mustang gt....that is unless they both suck at driving...lol

I dunno 14's really dont seem possible...i'll just have to wait and see.

Other than that I was wondering wat rpm i should squeeze at in first. I've never squeezed in first before because everyone said there was massive wheel spin.

That's going to be a tough tough race. You might could do it so I'll wish you luck. But I think I've read enough here that the SS's are much better from a roll.
