Optimal Shift times

HI guys and girls, I'm new to the prelude scene just got me a 2000 prelude. I'm wondering though, when racing what's the optimal shift times for a prelude?

is it just a tick before the RPM reaches redline?

Thanks for any info!

BTW I love this forum and it's people!

You ****ing dumbass. You think for one second that I don't really know the proper spelling of the vtec acronym?

Try to imagine for a second that I was being sarcastic toward another forum dumbass. It happens more often than you think.
