My SpecV 1/8th mile times

I know some of ya'll prolly dont care coz it isnt a Prelude, but thought I'd post just to let ya'll know what a well-driven SpecV can do. Also I'd like to compare my times to a stock prelude 1/8th mile so post your times!

Took the specV to the 1/8th mile on thursday. Temperature was in the 90's, ugh but the track was EMPTY. Only 15 cars total who were racing so I got plenty of runs in.

I hit consistent 2.2X's with a best of 2.19 so I was happy with my launches. I didnt even have to let any air out the tires hehe.

I hit a ton of 9.8's but my best run was a 9.78 @ 71.8mph.

btw: my car is stock

Interesting, I had some punk in a SpecV on the highway weave like a madman in traffic to catch me, then do a ricer flyby on me. He had an AEM intake (err AEM plate cover).

I was curious as to how fast it was, but I didn't really feel like chasing him down...hehe I was in chillin-cruise mode rather than angry-racer mode

yeah this car has a Helical Limited Slip Differential stock.
I compared my 1/8th mile timeslips to a guy i know who has a SpecV's 1/4 mile time slips. His 9.9s were 15.3s. So I think my 9.7-9.8 should be around a 15.1-15.2.

This was done in 90 degree temps. Im hoping once fall hits and the temps drop to the 60s-70s I will be able to scrape into the 14s.. or get close

Hmm so I think I would pull on a Spec-V on the highway fairly well. The LSD would make it tougher off the line though.

here's the dyno from my 200SX SER: cone/header/exhaust
http://members.truepath.com/planoser/serdyno1.jpg
148.5hp/132.4tq

My SpecV's corrected #s put down 146hp/153tq

a SpecV with i/h/e puts down around 165hp and just over 165tq to wheels
Cant wait to get some mods on this thing

Haha your not as special as me Brandon lol j/k
Passat you got alot more tourque off the line with the SpecV, but its impressive that you can get 2.1 60 foots without any suspension mods done
