Launching a SH - Honda Prelude Forum

Launching a SH is a problem for me. I think due to ATTS, when you launch normally you would bog a lot. I want a clean "scurt" and off the line quick type of launch. Can anyone help me with launching my SH because ATTS is a stupid wank.

ATTS doesnt reallt affect the way you launch. you can launch an SH just as good as you can launch a base. ATTS only affects the torque transfer in a turn, and not in straight line acceleration. what RPM are you launching at? are you just dumping the clutch and smashing on the gas? or do you feather? all those things will determine how your launch will turn out.

At around 2800, drop clutch add some gas when appropriate I smash. I hate bogging on SH, I can never make a good scurt unless I'm at like 5000-6000, in which I basically just start burning out.
