LACR tonight 10/8...who wants to go?

I'm heading up around 6-ish...anyone want to join me

A few of my Subaru buddies are going, but I'd like to see some other Preludes there.

Are you serious?

I've been to the track only twice, running consistant low 16's. My best time so far was last night...

60' 2.466
1/4 16.029
mph 87.96

Several others tonight were below 16.1 (similar 60' to above), but that still sucks!!! I am very disappointed. I know my setup is not optimal, but sh!t man..I'm running decent bolt-ons. I doubt I will launch any better with my sh!tty 205/50/16 Visa tires

dude, not to be mean, but i did a 16.2 with my single cam f22 and SI tranny. But the single cam was much easier to launch. That thing just hauled ass, i didnt have to worry about staying in vtec.

The visa's are made by Kuhmo?

What are you running?

If i ever figure out how to launch my lude i will be in the mid to high 14's.

Ohh yea, like i said before, i launch better at LACR, maby its due to the bad traction and me being able to spin in 2'nd and not fall out of vtec.

j/k, but this is exactly why I'm so pissed.

Nope. Made by Falken.

You don't even want to know. I'm not about to add fuel to the fire

This is why I want to meet up. I need help figuring out the weak points with my car. And then we can talk about my driving if you like. I'm not a "bad" driver...I'll take you for a spin and show you.

Well, we can't compare LACR times without knowing your 60' times and weather. If your 60' are close to mine and you ran in similar temps/humidity, then my engine/setup sucks or its just me. I do have a few bottlenecks in my exhaust setup.

Matt, have you run more than 1 15 flat? If not, that was a freak run, I have a buddy with a JDM H22 with I/H/E/P/crower stage 2 cams blah blah who could only run a 15.1.

Now that sounds more like it! A JDM motor with cams running 15.1 at LACR. I definitely should not be as fast as that. I feel better now.

Now who the hell is Matt??

matt

and scott how did you run a 15 flat at lacr and a low 15 at cali speed way, isn't lacr suppose to hurt your times? Everyone says that truck sucks, that's why I don't want to drive way out there just to get frustrated. ha ha

Oops, I meant Scott. My fault...

Just to make you feel bad about your times again, I run high 15s there, 4th gen Si, I/H/E/17s.
