Just got back from the track!

Well I went to Milan dragway today to drag the lude for the first time. I went with Brett, (Leptolude) who was testing his 4-1 header that Hotshot will be producing after his final design is complete. (It's a very cool header BTW!)

Anyway, We only got two runs in, and both were virtully identical... here's what I remember off the top of head. (My slips are outside in the car...)

60' 2.14?
1/4 14.1?
trap 99.1?

Not too bad considering I had 3/4 of a tank of gas and four 10" subs in the trunk. If I was on empty and gutted my system, 13's aren't far away!

That's a good 60' and a low mph, for a fat lude that's about as good as you're gonna get with stock differential, clutch, and even radials (i have drag radials...nittos) and only achieve 2.2's along with my friend on bfg's who has the same 60's and he has a phantom grip...(i know, they're junk but they definitely help before they start to break stuff).

Ya, I was disapointed at the trap speed, but very happy with the 60'. I think that's the only reason I got so low in the 14's. I'm running a DC header and stock CAT, so maby a nice 4-1 header and highflow cat would push me over the 100mph mark. Although, I don't think I could get any better track conditions than we had yesterday.

As soon as im done with this round of testing, maybe we should put the prototype on your car... thatd be fun. I was thinking that on the way back from the track. I need to do 5spd fit testing anyway.

I want a JSRC kit!! My wife laughed, said "maybe when you get that raise Brett..."

That would be awsome if we tested it on my car. we have a baseline now, maybe you header will bump me over 100mph?
