I'm so disappointed with my runs..

It's 00 lude 5spd turbocharged and dyoned at 355whp(14psi) on the mustang dyno.
I also just used street tires on the stock rims.

I expected high 12's...well my best run was 14.229.
Now I'm really disappointed..
I'm not sure if it's the car or driver.

R/T .506
60' 2.472
330 6.413
1/8 9.477
MPH 82.58
1000 12.061
1/4 14.229
MPH 104.74

Well I can see that my 60' isn't that good.
Is there a way to improve it?
Can you guys give me some opinions?

actually all you have to do is improve your first and second gears....

the 60 and 330 look like number that an na lude would run...
With those kind of hp numbers drag radials or slicks would be great... some lsd and some practice and you be good to go!!

+1, my 60 and 330 numbers are really close to yours and all I have is I/H/E.

Are you chirping, wheel hoping at all in your first and second gear?

That can really hurt your time. Id say, get better tires and practice feathering the clutch and launching. With that kind of horsepower you'll probably find that you need an LSD to maintain control in those first two gears. My friend has a turboed 3rd gen that, with a good driver, and a good track can do 13.5s, but last night she couldnt get anything lower that like 15.9. Track and driver were a large part of that. ****ty tracks will definately get you crapy numbers. the stickier the track the better. Kristen couldnt maintain traction in 1st and second gear without bogging it a little.

+2 I definatly agree with the statements above. Getting a good 1/4 mile time is largely dependent on getting out of the hole quickly. I'd say practice your launching. Also practice feeling traction...when you lose it and when it returns. That way, you'll know when to give it more gas and how much gas you can give without losing traction. I've only launched my N/A prelude, but the concepts should remain the same regardless of hp output. Get out of the hole quickly, maintain good traction, and quick shifts.
