Me and a couple of buddys decided to go down to the track lastnight and see what i could run...Im a little dissapointed!
1st run on heavy as 18s
R/T 1.039
60' 2.865
330 7.597
1/8 11.209 @ 68.63
I got mad wheel spin all the way through 2nd

2nd run on 18s
R/T 1.032
60' 2.550
330 7.000
1/8 10.520 @ 70.36

3rd run on stocks at 24psi(45k miles on the tires)
R/T .707
60' 2.402
330 6.755
1/8 10.244 @ 71.03

Let me know what you all think...I know i can ALOT better..I was nervous as hell...Not to mention i was the only import there after 9:30...Talkin about some people staring

dont feel bad, most ppl suck ass on their first time to the track. Just ask Zmonkey

But yeah, only advice I can give is keep going to get more practice and work on those launches.. deflate the front tires down to around 25psi to help you prevent spin/hop.

P.S. to calculate your 1/4 mile time.. multiply your 1/8th mile by 1.55 and you will get a pretty accurate idea

My first time at the track sucked! (16.4) You get alot better as you do it more. Its something that everyone goes through, ive seen RSX-Type Ss' and Celica GT-Ss' run in the mid 16s all the time with first time racers. You just need practice.
