I did it guys! I broke into 14.5 territory!

Today i went to the track with all the same bolt ons as my other times. I ran in the past a best of 14.7 but today i hit 14.5! This time around i ran on my Volk Se-37s. Their 17's,

R/T . 1.2
60 2.24
330 6.182
1/8 9.411
MPH 75.76
1/4 14.55
MPH 95.45

This run was with just Intake/exhuast/test pipe/ Pullies and guess and check tuned VAFC. Again this was with stock header.

Such a nice run, your car is super fast or your a great driver.

My best is like 6 0r 7 15.0's with CAI and RE92's.

i dont know but i think he saw the pic i took of it on honda tech. haaha. But technically it aient cheating. I daily drive it stripped. This is how fast my car runs on the street technically. Im sure si4ws your car is as quick as mine with mods seeing how you ran 15 flat.

What does it run with a full interior? Did it make that large a difference?

See, I just can't do it, I can't strip out my Lude, I couldn't do it on my 4th gen or my 3rd gen either. I would take out the passenger seat htough, that's not a big deal.

I always tell people forget the TREE and learn to launch! Some of my best 60' times came from .8-1.0 trees!......
I'd be willing to bet my .514 r/t gave me a solid 2.4-2.5 60' time.
Anxiety at the TREE causing wheel spin and axel hop!

i would be so scared, still havent seen the track yet...

about weight reduction, cant you just go on a diet for a few days/weeks and match the weight you have to remove from the interior? just a thought

I could do it, at this time i had only test pipe and pulleys extra. I had 17inch rims on too. My 60fts were 2.24 and with some practice im sure i could of hit 14.4 and lower 60fts. I hit 2.19 on the stock rims when i first ran 14.7.

Go pick her up from the junk yard maybe ya can get some spare parts. But yea around here i had one of the fastest ludes. You should gut yours and get a real full exhuast and save up for a bangin' header. With the potential of your motor it sounds like you can hit 200whp with just a good H/E combo, and a test pipe. **** man if you want one get one done locally. Find 2.5 inch piping and get the flanges. And get someone to weld it on. Should only cost you at most 20 bucks. That was by far my best mod. All the others really didnt do much except IMO the ehxaust and test pipe combo.

This was at MIR at WW 3. Nah i dont have any car. Im working on some ideas though in my head.

haha. I was a street racing legend on my streets. Showed dumb people wat a fat prelude could do. My best win was over a slow turbo'd neon that ran 14.4 and i got him by half a car. This was before i knew i could hit 14.5 territory. With my big daddy 6k launches, that used to scare everyone i used to race. haha. What do you launch at at the track? I go to 5500.
