guess my next 1/4 time??? - Honda Prelude Forum

ok im only posting this because im bored and i wanna see what everyone thinks i can run. last time at the track i ran a 14.8 on a full tank and 23lb 17s. since then i have done the coolant bypass, 16 inch slips, vafc, new radiator, and will be running only about 1/2-1/4 tank. what do you think i can run this time around?

Did you tune the VAFC at all?

i doubt i will be going to ennis. i usually run at hallsville. i have not even hooked up the vafc yet but when i go to the track the only thing im gonna have changed is the vtec crossover because of the h23 and fallin out of vtec in 1st problem. i know without it my car could run a 14.6 though so im hoping for better.

u should still try to snag a vtec tranny....better gear ratios for accleration, your gonna be losing out with the Si tranny...but u should still manage a 14.7 or 14.6....let us know..peace

I know but i figure since its not going out im not gonna buy it. anyways im waiting to find a good deal on a jdm tranny with lsd. i read in a post a while back some posted the specs of 5th gen, 4th gen, and i think it was a euro R tranny. but it had a shorter 3rd gear. im not sure but the tranny seemed that it may be better for acceleration and i wanna look around some more until i decide what i wanna do.

Yah mean falling outa VTEC? yeah the VAFC fixed it. my idle is still messed up though. i think the 225/50s are slowing me down. so BIG and ROUND. i want smaller tires..
