I know there are more than one thread about this, but here are my times:

Steele, AL

1st - 16.046 @ 85.42(no launch, and AC on)
2nd - 16.064 @ 87.29(no AC, no launch, no music)
3rd - 15.716 @ 86.83 (music, no AC, somewhat of a launch)
4th and final - 15.673 @ 86.90

I was pleased with the 15.673, but i still do not know how i got up to 87 and got the slowest , but i left the track happy mainly so i would not mess up my tires anymore cause they are new. i did this after the prelude guys left beause i did not want to embarass myself too bad. I had fun though...

What can help me get a better time? Working on launches? If it possible to get down to 15.5s with just weight reductions (spare tire, etc)

I had everything in my car, including:

CD's - LOTS
Spare Tire
Jack
Tire Iron
muffler Silencer

I have a 1993 with f22b, intake, exhaust - bone stock motor though. would a header improve time?

nice runs. i would be happy if i can get in the 15's with my f22b. i'll let you know what i get after i run my car. but it looks like you did alright for it being your frist time.
