Finally ran for the first time (93 Si) - Honda Prelude Forum

Well, after having my car for a year now i finally made it to a drag strip... went to Atlanta Dragway in Commerce, GA. Its not the best track, nor the fastest from what i hear but a track nonetheless. It was my first time and my launch needs a lot of work, but all in all i had a good time and the times weren't THAT horrible...

Work on your launces...you can bring it down a couple tenths total in the 1/4.

I wish i could head down there on the 7th man, but ill be at about 30000 ft. flying back from Vegas after my weeklong internship at SEMA

yea you should be able to pull better times..my friend has a 92 si with I/E/P and he is running 15.4-15.5 constantly

His times would be better if Commerce wasn't on a slight incline! They say it's a good tenth or two slower than most and I tend to agree since I ran a 16.040 in AL and I even missed 4th for a second while my best run ever at Commerce was a 16.1 and I didn't miss anything (after running at AL!).
