Disapointing track trip.

I went to the track tonight but unfortunatly I only got one run it. I got there at 9 but a car just broke their oil pan on the track and the track closes at 10:00 and I got my run in at 10:19. I met a lot of cool people in line but it sucks that i only got one run it. Last year I only got to go the the track once with the new motor and it broke after the 3rd run of a 14.76. I need to learn how to launch it better, but I need to get more runs in

What's your setup engine wise? Also, what kind of tires and wheels were you using? In the 1/8 I trap at about 76-77mph but in the 1/4 it only gets me as far as 96mph, I'm guessing you have some sort of header to give you better top end.

If you practice your launch and get it down to 2.1 or 2.2, i'm sure you can get a mid 14 run or lower. Good luck!
