is 16.07 good for SS

I was wondering if 16.07 for a auto 5th gen with Intake,Header, Exhaust and 18" WHEELS is good or not





R/T- 1.107
60'- 2.485
330- 6.978
1/8- 10.528
MPH- 70.35
1000- 13.544
1/4- 16.079
MPH- 88.58


my first run was this 16.079 and my second run was a 16.241

Your times are good for what you have. I had almost the same 60' times in my SS, if you work at it with some torque braking you can get about 2.38sec on the 60'.

with smaller, lighter wheels you could easily break the high 15's. but overall great time for an SS especially on 18's.

Do you think it is possible for me to break a VERY HIGH 15's on these 18's....i hit redline and bobbed it...during teh switch from 2-3rd

Yea, I can see you breaking a high 15 with the 18's, the thing you would need to improve on would be lowering you 60' time. if you could get a 2.3x or 2.40 you would see a 15 second run. good luck.

Yea I think it's also possible to break the 15-second barrier as well.
