ok guyz maybe im not reading this slip right or doing something wrong but it looks to me like everything is pretty good, why am i running a 14.5 with 8psi of boost ????!?!?!I was running 14.9's all day long b4 boost so......wtf.........help someone lol
damn. did u look at your trap speed though?? if you get some better traction that's a easy mid 13. maybe even low 13's. Get some slicks and you shouldn't have a problem. also what turbo u using?

What tires are you running? Try airing them down and see if that helps your 60', because they are pretty high, get those down and your times will dive a little more. Just looks like a major traction issue to me. Massive amounts of wheelspin.

Yeah, I'm betting he has serious traction issues in between shifts. I spin a little in 2nd and i'm pretty much stock, I can't imagine the spin with 8 psi of boost.

well i wouldn't consider a 2.4 as being massive traction problems. it takes practice gettin used to taking off with turbo. what are u launching at? even if u get lsd, you'll still have to practice your launches. nobody just goes to the track there first time with turbo and does really good. just give it time.

im launchin at around 4500 and im runnin falken tires, brand new.
and even if i air down my tires and run a low 14..... that still aint right for 8psi man...........im thinkin its traction issues cuz check it...
1st gear at 6500 rpms tires break loose and i lose all traction
2nd gear tires break loose and i lose traction for at least a second until it grabs and goes........
so i guess i gotta take care of some traction issues and keep practicin.......... i dunno well see
ok here goes first off your 60 should be inmproved, but just improving your 60 by 2 tenths could net you bigger gains at the end, a second very big area that people never see it the 1-2 shift...i dropped almost 4 tenths off my times by running drag radials, mind you the 60 ft were exactly the samehigh 2.1 and low 2.2s on streets and drag radials, the difference was when i drilled seocnd gear the car hooked instead of spinning the tires, i had always suspected there was some time to gain by cutting out the traction issue going into second gear, but never realized it was as significant, you can tell how smooth the shift into second, and was and how well it hooked, example, two seperate runs for me, both with 2.2 60 ft...the 33o mark on street tires 6.195, on radials 5.825 which is almost 4 tenths difference, i found this out reseaching and reading all my slips, the only diff between my countless 14.0 runs on streets and my 13.7s was traction going into second gear, thats it, btw looking at my slips the time diff in tenths stayed identical the rest of the way down the track...which is how i learned how big of an impact getting traction going into second is..and if your trapping 104 you should be solidly into the 13s, im running 13.7s with a mid 102 trap speed, a freind of mine ran a 13.4 @ 104 in his accord h22 with a 75 shot..practice your driving, but getting a set of good drag radials could help you, i dont think at your HP levels that full slicks are nessecary, but the slick will net you the best 1/4 times once your accustomed to using them...peace
