13's were so close........

Tonight was import shootout at RiverCity raceway. I had a breakout so I automatically lost. But, I did run two 14.1's and one 14.0. One of my 14.1's trapped at 100.00 mph, so thats cool that I finally got into the hundreds. I was the 17th fastest car there so I had to go with the slow cars and not with the 16 fastest, which were all turbo/supercharged. Here is my timeslip for the 14.0.

RT 788
60 2.257
330 6.042
1/8 ET 9.149
1/8 MPH 79.54
1000 ET 11.821
1/4 ET 14.087
1/4 MPH 99.84

P.S. I took out my spare tire, passenger seat, all my carpet, my middle consolel and my back seat. And my tires were set at 25psi front, and 40psi back.

so close man, I feel your pain. I went to the track hoping too, and then my clutch said bye-bye. You'll get it. How much weight do you think you saved? I might try that too.

Blacklude- my mods are in my sig.

PreludeRacer- Yeah Im sure something around mid to low 13's would be about right. I would go with the ZEX kit if you want to stay under or at 75.

That is my slip with nitrous is on the top. I spray from the begining to the end. Since the ZEX only sprays at open throttle, I just ease it till I get moving off the line, then I WOT it.
