1/4 mile times, 5th gen vs. 4th gen

Hey, I know this had to have been asked a million times but I haven't seen a good answer really yet, Can someone tell me approximate quarter mile times of a 5th gen car and then the times of a 4th gen si, and vtec. You'd only need to post 5spd times. thanks for the help.

Josh

If it's been asked a million times, and none of those answers were what you wanted to see. . .what makes you think this go-round will be any different?

see, i dont see how a fifth gen can run that fast stock. every time i go to the track i go with tons of lude drivers and i have never seen a stock lude run any lower than a 15.6, i ran a 15.5 with i/e/p, i dont see how it can be done, and i can drive too, on the bottle i get 14.5s, which is about right it seems, but wow, i wish my car would run a 15.4 stock, i would be in the low 14s....

Zach, you gotta remember the C&D guys are pretty much professional drivers. They've been driving cars to the limit for years, so it's to be expected that they might drive the car a bit better on the track. Their tests are done under optimum conditions too, and probably without distractions like regular people face at the track. I think it is pretty true of all cars that the mag times are lower than what *most* people can drive the car to.

My best time was a 15.0 with I/H/E/VAFC and the rest of the day was consistent 15.3's
