Will Prelude GC sleeves work on EF Civic - Honda Prelude Forum

Do any of you know if I can re-use the Ground Control sleeves from my Prelude on an EF Civic Si? Specifically the versions that work with Koni shocks. Are the OD and the circlip the same size? Of is the Civic stuff smaller?

You could call Lee Grimes at Koni, he should be able to tell you if the OD of the yellows is the same for both cars.

Is it the EX vbspec(i don't remember the guys name)/Mike Louis/Adam Koback car??

It should work. The bore in the fork on the Preludes and Civics are the same, and if I recall correctly, the shock is the same diameter as the bore in the fork, yes?

I'm looking for one. I don't have the money to buy Adam's car right now. Fully prepped cars cost more. I'm looking for a good shell (body) to start with, so I can spread the cost of prep over the winter months. I expect to have to rebuild the motor in any car I buy. If Adam's car is still for sale after the winter, it may be an good option.

If they are not the same diameter they are close.
