Two for two for 2nd...

Finally been able to get the Z out on the auto-x course this month. Ran back on the second, B-stock. Took 2nd out of 3 cars (another Z and an RX-8; the 8 beat me). I didn't mess with tire pressures, remove the spare, etc. Just wanted to see how the car differed going from I4/FWD to V6/RWD... all I can say is .

Took her out again today... this time, five cars in the class. Three Z's, a G35c, and an RX-8. Took 2nd place again, this time another Z beat me (he had Toyo RA1's, a front sway replacement and Koni shocks). This time I removed the spare, played with tire pressure (found its COMPLETELY different than the settings I used with the 'Lude) and managed to do decently in my four runs (only one OC that was me pushing too hard.)

I have two more the final weekend of this month and then I have to start thinking about winterizing the Z...

BooYa!! The Miata was fun. I got decently quick one I got used to the light rear end and the soft stock suspension. My last run was close to Scott's time in the Z I think. It would make a very fun STS2 car when Irene has the money and if she wanted to do it.

I can't wait to get the Prelude back out. I need to break this no trophy streak. It's like I have bad karma or something.

I'm just not sure if I would want to do that... I don't want to lower the car I enjoy having clearance..
My 1st priority is to get a practical car to store it during winter.. then we'll see

No i don't have one YET. I just put my wife back in school for her Masters, so any fun $ is all but gone. But when she gets out... Look out i will be shopping for a Black one.

No need to be nervous! It's lots of fun and very low risk! Have fun! Any questions let me know.

Good luck all you southers. My Auto-x season ended a month ago Now begins the LONG wait until may until we have a event again.
