Hi Everyone,

EMRA is hosting a track day / time trial event on August 1st at the New Jersey Motorsports Park, and I wanted to extend the invitation to all PO members.

The Eastern Motor Racing Association (EMRA) runs high performance driving education events across the Northeast. EMRA track days offer a mix of instructor-led classroom training and real hands-on track driving for everyone from first-timers to experienced track day buffs. All you need is a safe car, a helmet with a Snell 2000 rating (or above), and a willingness to learn. It's a fun, safe way to get into the world of high performance driving in the car you drive every day.

For those of you with a strong competitive instinct, EMRA also sanctions a time trial series as well. It's an all day affair with transponders - Your fastest lap of the day is what counts. You don't need a heavily built car to compete or win, and Preludes are pretty competitive in their respective classes.

It's a great experience, lots of fun in a safe environment with a friendly organization. Best of all, first-timers to EMRA get a $100 discount on their entry fees for their first event. If you've ever been curious, or if you've wanted to get into high performance driving, this is a great opportunity to do it.
