I had a track day on the 23rd of Oct at Castle Combe (UK) last week with Motorsport Events Track Days & Corporate Driving Events

What a great laugh that was.

I was also with a friend (Celox) who was running in his Track prepped DC5. That was a bit of an animal.

Another trackday with footage

Well, I got bored again sitting at home and booked a another track day.

This time at Rockingham speedway in the UK.

This event was organised with Hondas-on-Track, a uk based Honda track day enthusiast forum.

We ran the National circuit that unfortunately did not include any of the banked Oval circuit.

It was a great track, pretty technical with off camber double apex corners.

Once you got it right, it was soo rewarding and immense fun.

We had a variety of cars:

DC2 & DC5 integras
EK4 civics
EK9 civic type-R with a K20 on throttlebodies
EP3 civic type-R's
FD2 civic type-R (really impressed with this)
S2000


Once again, the prelude did me proud.

So here are a few laps of me at the circuit.

Nice. I've always wanted to drive on Rockingham. How does the track suit your car?

Once of these days I'll make that trip over that ocean. One of these days...

Its a great track. pretty technical. The car didnt perform too bad, but suffered from the dreaded understeer a bit, but could be to the range of off-camber corners. But great fun. Hopefully you can make it to a track day at Rockingham. There are plenty of UK based track day organisers. If you dont have your own car, certain places allow you to rent their cars.
